This season we have decided to keep a photographic record of three vines, one from each of the varieties we grow, throughout the growing year from young shoots through to harvest.
WEEK 1 – EARLY SPRING.
We are approximately four weeks after bud burst. The season has started off with relatively cool temperatures and rainfall is a little under the long term average (521 mm as opposed to 633 mm). The growth has been even across the vineyard.
The first vine is a Pinot Noir from our 98 Block. It is cane pruned and on a Lyre trellis.

The second vine is a Chardonnay vine in our 93 Block. It is also cane pruned and growing on a Lyre trellis.

The third vine is a Pinot Gris. It is spur pruned and growing on a modified GDC (Geneva Double Curtain)

Over the coming months we will add new images of these three vines which you will be able to view in our Galleries page.
