  1. Congratulations on continuing to produce outstanding wines. I recently purchased some 2010 ‘The Curly’ and tried one on the weekend – magic.

    I am so amazed at the vision of Curly Flat! Your wines have the stamp of Royalty.…Brilliant!

    1. Hi Nick, thanks for your positive comments, they are much appreciated. We’re glad to hear your enjoyed The Curly, which whilst being enjoyable now, we’re looking forward to seeing it mature as it will age well into the next decade. As for the 2010 CF Pinot Noir, it is a succinct embodiment of what we currently know of both our vineyard and the handling of Pinot Noir generally, in terms of coaxing it’s delicate nuances, rather than forcing them via over extraction.     I recently visited the Cellar Door at the Curly Flats winery and was thoroughly impressed.

    During our visit we were informed about an event where a celebrity chef hosts a long lunch at Curly Flats. The event price was said to be around $160 per person. Could you please advise where I could fine more information in relation to this.

  4. Shared the 2013 Williams Crossing at Chad Johnson’s, Slow Life in Niseko. The wine (1 doz) was freighted direct from Curly Flat and enjoyed mid January 2016, where the maximum outside temp was about -4C and the min -20C.
    Jancis does not give the wine full justice. It was outstanding and friends from Australia, Europe and North America loved it. In the words of Jodie from Tully, as she polished off half a bottle, “I hate red wine.” Or the TV crew from Quebec, “This is better than anything that we have drunk in France.” Chad & I bathed in reflected glory.
    Should have got 2 doz.
